The word Quran means "recitation". When Muslims speak in the abstract about "the
Quran ", they usually mean the scripture as recited in Arabic rather than the
printed work or any translation of it. To Muslims, the Quran is perfect only as
revealed in the original Arabic; translations are necessarily deficient because
of language differences, the fallibility of translators, and the impossibility
of preserving the original's inspired style. Translations are therefore regarded
only as commentaries on the Quran an, or "interpretations of its meaning",
not as the Quran itself. |

The Quran is the final revealed Book of
Allah, that contains the message of guidance from Allah for all humankind.
Welfare of the entire humanity depends upon following the guidance and
understanding Quran. In other words, success in this world as well as the
Hereafter for humankind is treasured in the Quran. Therefore, it's a must for us
to Learn Quran and understand it.
The Qur'an is the most often-read book in the world. Revealed by God to the
Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in the 7th century, and revered by Muslims
as being God's final Scripture and Testament, its words have been lovingly
recited, memorized, and implemented by Muslims of every nationality ever since. |
